More March Madness
So, I'm taking a short break from basketball to try to get my blood pressure back down a little. And Mario and I were wondering, what's up with the women sports reporters? The men all wear suits and the women (who are usually on the floor) look like it's casual Friday. Today in San Jose a woman (named Erin...) finally wore a suit. But it was pink!!!

Actually, I just wanted to add a couple words, not delete the whole thing. Anyway, interesting observation. It makes it seem like the women comentators want to be taken less seriously than the men... At least they must think their role is different from that of the men. Are they there in a more conversational or entertaining role, and the men more 'informative'? Not that many sports comentators refrain from being 'entertaining' if they think they can be. (This comment from someone who RARELY watches sports.)
Maybe since they're out on the floor, they feel they need to bridge the style gap between the sweaty athletes and the gussied-up reporters.
Well, based on mascots I would have picked the Salukis. Much more graceful than a jayhawk. And the only dog Muslims didn't consider unclean so they could have them as pets! Maybe Rusty has some saluki in him. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saluki
