Amuse me while I pump
So I'm back at work (survived my 8, 9 + 10 am classes) and am pumping. The thing I can do easily while pumping is clicking and screen reading.
So it is your job to post something for me to read and smile about.
Today's topic: Office supplies that make you smile.
I'm enamoured by new pens. Gel pens in particular.
I also now have an enviable set of color sharpies, but black is still the best.

And happy at the chance to work from home today and I'm actually making progress on adminstrative work and soon will be working on writing. Gavin has been very good all morning but is currently letting me know that he wants to get some attention (and probably go out).
I have 48 students registered in my 8 am Bio 101 class. It is a cold and snowy first day of class. 49 showed up on time!
I love the new Sharpie Pens. Nothing amusing happened yesterday. Maybe today?
Oh Happy Day - they have upped the max file size on our Moodle site (similar to Blackboard) from 2 MB to 20 MB.
I am doing the happy dance.
Learned a new word just now
Phytotelmata: water bodies held by plants, i.e. inside a pitcher plant or in a bromeliad.
I am a little obsessed with my screen cleaning solution...no more finger prints from looking at graphs during lunch. My cat also adds a lot to my office now that I'm working at home most of the time. Although he can be a little annoying. Oh, and my doughnut-shaped pillow...don't ask.

Jennifer- I love phytotelmata. I think I might need to use it in class tomorrow.
At home we have little velcro strips of different colors that help keep our computer cables organized and out of the way. They're quite cute.
I wish I was working my pregnant ass off. Seems more like I'm working on making it bigger:)
