Happy Election Day
Election Day totally makes me miss knitting. I'm tense and excited and very very hopeful that we wouldn't need something like Tim proposing to Jenny to cheer us up.
I voted early and its not really very exciting here (all the local elections were only contested in the primaries, so there were very few decisions to be made), but I'm still nervous and giddy because I love the process. Miss you all. Don't forget to vote.

Isn't it great how we, as complete grownups, still love wearing our "I Voted" stickers?!?!?! I was going to vote early but wanted to wear my sticker today, so held off. :)
Starbucks is giving away a free house coffee to all voters! I got mine. The line was out the door downtown. It confirmed I like Prima Tasa's so much better. Well, I already knew that.
I actually was really sad about the lack of sticker as an early voter.
No stickers in our township, and am sad about it. I should find out who is in charge of such things in our township, and give them an earful. Ask them, "What, you have something more important to spend money on than stickers? Inconceivable!"
Me Too! I was very bummed about not getting a sticker! - hopefully the outcome tonight will more than make up for that. Hmmm, are stickers more of a Midwest thing?
I voted early here in Ohio AND got a sticker! It's been on my bag for a few weeks now (I think I voted 3 weeks ago...). I made sure that it stayed on until today. I guess tomorrow I will take it off.
I got a "I voted" peice of paper not a sticker. sigh. Our house is within half a block of the police shutdown so we still have to decide if we want to go out to a party tonight. I wish I could host knitting for everyone here. :-)
Turns out that election day voters don't get stickers here either. Glad I didn't wait.
I love Cathy commenting "complete grownups" as if she is trying to convince us, (and failing).
When I vote at the rec center I walk over with Sally, and she gets my sticker!
And happy day after the election. I voted yesterday AND got a sticker. I also canvassed for Obama and got a t-shirt. We were knocking on doors to get out the vote -but for those people who were home, they had already voted.
So Beth, do you go out and join the big party?
I wasn't at the big party but I did go out to an election party. :-)
