Conversation Biology

I taught a class in it, according to my CV that has already been distributed.
Good thing that brains of search committee members probably work like yours (and mine and my proof-readers') and automatically changes it to the intended "conservation biology".

I'd be pretty good at the conversation biology class, though.

You would be fantastic at a class like that. I have to admit that I had to go back and read it again to realize what the mistake was.

I agree with Abby :)
I'm taking a week long class on species distribution modeling and the prof told us that he published a paper on a lichen species with the specific epithet "oregana", which his computer changed to "oregano". Apparently no one caught it and it got published... Yikes, I'm sure something like that is in my future, too.
As a side note: "R" is way overwhelming. Especially for eight hours a day.

A whole new subdiscipline, invented/discovered by SpSq!

It's sort of late to post a comment here but today I found an email in which I wrote to a colleague about an important "phone conservation," which of course reminded me of this post.
