It's the little things
The copier machine in our department has a hole-punch feature. I love it. Sometimes it is the little things that make me happy. Actually, it is most often the little things.

A cat curled up on my lap. "Mandarin Spice" iced tea. Watching birds in the yard while lying in the hammock. A new pair of really comfy shoes to wear for work!
The new edition of my bio text has rockhopper penguins on the cover and while cliche, they are adorable and very visibly hopping. The novel I am reading has rockhopper penguins playing an essential part.
My husband is reading the Harry Potter books so I can discuss Snape with him.
Grilling hamburgers with my brothers this past weekend. Watching my niece run around the yard singing a song that only she knew/understood.
And back here in Ohio, somebody filled the candy jar! (although it probably would have been better if they hadn't)
The hummingbirds are back!
Yea - hummingbirds are so cool. There were feeders where I was stayed in NM and I loved watching the hummers squabble over the feeders.
